Yarn Winding

Due to the nature of hand-dyeing yarn and how small yarn batches are, most skeins are sisters, not twins, though Fiona Kay tries her hardest to keep it in the family. Colors have been photographed as accurately as possible. However, please keep in mind that colors may vary from monitor to monitor and some colors are difficult to capture 100% accurately.

Most orders are Dyed To Order, and will ship in 6-8 weeks after the order is placed. Items marked Ready To Ship will ship 3-5 days after the order is placed. If your order contains both Dyed to Order and Ready to Ship items, they will all ship together 6-8 weeks after the order is placed.

Yarn can be wound for an extra fee of $4 per skein. Please add the total number of skeins you would like wound to your cart and get specific in the order notes if there are only certain ones you'd like wound. Click here to add winding to your order.

Take good care of your finished objects by hand washing and laying flat to dry. Though all skeins are rinsed thoroughly after dyeing, some bleeding may occur during washing.
