About

Fiona Kay is a one woman dyeing operation in Portland, Oregon. She is drawn to bright bright neons and the darkest of moody colors. Her work has been described as “Goth Lisa Frank” or “Dolly Parton meets Elvira.” She is often inspired by goth fashion, country western aesthetics, American traditional tattoo designs, and horror movies.

When she isn’t dyeing yarn or designing patterns, she’s working as a horse massage therapist (yes, it’s a real job!), specializing in rehabilitation and geriatric horse care. She’s the mom of a very opinionated and fashion obsessed kiddo named Luna and two rescued mutts named Marceline and Hank. As a queer, plus sized woman with ADHD, Fiona aims to cultivate a space with her work that welcomes the weirdos, the artists, and anyone who has ever felt like an outsider.
